There's been a ton of deals happening on BlackBerry 10 devices lately between carrier offerings, Amazon and various other big box locations. Even BlackBerry themselves have started selling devices directly though their pricing is still a bit up there when compared to other offerings.

All that said, if you're looking for a BlackBerry Q10 on the cheap and don't want to deal with contracts or any of that, 1Sale just might be able to help you out. Right now, if you head on over to their site you can big up a factory unlocked BlackBerry Q10 for $400 outright with free shipping.

The specifications for the listing do show it has support for Quad band LTE 2, 5, 4, 17 (700/850/1700/1900 MHz), Tri band HSPA+ 1, 2, 5/6 (850/1900/2100 MHz) @ 42mbps, Quad band EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) meaning it should fit most peoples connectivity needs however, there is always the chance that may be just a generic listing they tossed up there, there's no real way of knowing.

As always with these sort of listings, some level of customer caution is advised. I've not personally had any problems with ordering from such places but there's no shortage of folks out there who will tell you otherwise. Also of note, the site does say it will be 1-2 weeks for shipping.

1Sale offering factory unlocked BlackBerry Q10's for $400

I wonder if they'll further drop the price in a month or two or three.

I wouldn't mind having a Q10 to bang out text messages and BBM (since BBM SHOULD BE on full cross platform in a week or so).

Then again, there's always eBay...

Dear CrackBerry, remember your userbase is pretty much worldwide. It's worth noting that this sale is ONLY available to those living in the USA.

Blackberry just cut the price of Z10 to $399.

Check Blackberry website and announce this.
I bought mine with $680.

They had to price it reasonably since the beggining.

Good notice!.
You still can get the new unlocked Z10 from ebay by $297.

Unfortunately, it seems that BlackBerry is completely done with hardware.

What are you talking about? They just released the Z30 this week and committed to four new handsets for next year.

They can't.
They only sold 3.7 M last quarter and their handset selling rate is dropping dramatically from quarter to quarter.

This businesses wont be profitable for any new owner. Let's face the truth. BB10 is amazing for us, but it is epic fail in terms of selling rate and profit.

They need to build volume. There is evidence that BB10 is slowly gaining acceptance (yes, very slowly but it's happening). If it gets a chance to get to critical mass, who knows?

Agree. Low price for first generation BB10 phones to build the user base. If this succeeds, there can be a second generation. The key thing now is to build the users so that more people can see the awesomeness of BB10.

The Z10 is has been free with contract in the US now for a few months and that price point has not helped the adoption of the device at all. Even if all bb10 devices were a $100 off contract I still think a majority of the market would still opt for android/iOS.

Posted via CB10

Agree, I mean, Can we still believe in them?

Of course they have the willing but not the execution.

They should price the devices cheaper and not suddenly cut the price that quickly

Posted via CB10

I'm sure the Z30 was in development along with the Z10. The two devices are almost identical. So the z30 wasn't that hard to make.

I can guarantee you BlackBerry is no longer committed to four devices for 2014 with the turn out of bb10s sales. We may see a new entry level model but the z30 is probably the last flagship we'll ever see.

They got all the BB10 devices pricing wrong, it's a fact (see 1bilion write down - no sure anyone pondered on how much money is 1bilion actually is). Now that they managed to successfully kill the brand I see chance of recovery slim to none - unfortunately.

The 1 billion dollars write off looks suspicious to me right before they announced an offer to buy. Nice start for a new owner 4.7 billion to buy a company with 2.7 billion in cash, 1 billion in written off inventory and I heard 1.4 billion in real estate, all the "dirty work" done reducing cost by 50%. They were just about making money before this even with that write off of inventory and at the beginning of a new product launch imagine a year from now as 65 million BlackBerry os users come due for a new phone and the cost of making BlackBerry 10 lowers.

BlackBerry Forever

Agreed. "We have a billion dollars worth of Z10s in the warehouse. Oh well, let's write it off.". Next quarter, huge profit because manufacturing costs will be $0.

This is a 24 hour sale and ends in 22:58:01 hours. All payment methods require a U.S. billing address.

Lower the price now with contract and drive sales here in the US!

Posted via BlackBerry Q10!!

Yes. U.S. Consumers have been proven to love keyboard phones with a small ecosystem.

You nailed it!

Yes, he is reading it right. List price of $1199. I doubt it sells for that regularly, but that is the list price given on the site.

Posted via CB10

They do this kind of thing all the time to try and convince people they are getting an amazing deal. Invicta sellers do this all the time. Technically resellers can price how they like. Doesn't it seem like getting the Q10 for $399 down from $1200 is a lot more of a steal than it dropping from $550? There are some Invicta watches that are listed at over $2000 that are cut to under $200. Makes it seem like you should jump on it now. Psychology at its worst, and it works all the time.

BlackBerry 10 United

Canadians' bigger issues will be getting a US billing and shipping address... if they shipped to Canada, I'd have jumped on this within 2 minutes.

Posted via CB10

Use a service like cbiusa. Then call your credit card company and ask to add cbi's address as an additional billing address. I've done it before and it works for some sellers (but not all). Worth a try I'd you really want it...

Call your carrier to verify, but it appears that this is an HSPA+ phone and that WIND uses the HSPA+ network.

Wow, what's a price!!! Couldn't ask for more (except the stingy one) lol Still around 600 in my country.

This surely tells me that there are more $1 billion non cash write offs pending with the Q10 inventory. I must say BB10 launch was the most horrible launch for a new platform and new phones ever. I estimated that atleast 5% of Blackberry fans would convert to BB10 platform and that would be a no brainer. I doubt if even more than 3.5 Million BB10 handsets are being used currently by users.

its a 24hr sale. "this surely tells me" man you jump the gun to fast. Hope ur not a judge or cop or anything important like that.

This is exactly what BB needs to do. blow out the z10 and q10 and get them in the hands of kids. They will drive the market in the future. baby steps

Everything! BB has changed everything. If the z10 had an apple logo on it it would out sell every other phone on the market. When i was a kid the coolest shoes were made by Adidas everyone had a pair. if you didn't you weren't cool. Then someone showed up wearing NIkes. all hell broke out and 6 months later you couldn't find a pair of Adidas anywhere. Kids tell their parents what to buy. BB has to focus on kids. that's what apple did and it worked perfectly. If BB was smart they would build a phone just for kids (BBK10). Kids don't talk on phones any more. they text, facebook, tweet bbm skype and play games. build it and they will come

I agree. But I'm in New York City. And the kids here are all about InstaGram, Twitter, HBO Go and Netflix. I can't speak for other countries. But the majority of kids here don't use BBM because they don't have to. My 16 year old nephew is on the high school football team and he doesn't even know what BBM is.

BB has made improvements. But they're not ready for the youth market yet. The ecosystem isn't there.

Your right it is the ecosystem. but its coming. 6 months after the the release of BB10 the app world has 200,000 apps. Apple and samsung had about 12,000 so they are ahead of the curve. by pricing these phones cheep they will end up in kids hands. InstaGram and Netflex will build the apps once it worth their time. They need to get the phones out there even at a loss.

I agree. They need to give those things away to anyone willing to give it a try. But they're not.

My Brother-in-law writes for two NBC shows. They asked Hollywood Branded for a couple of Q10s to use on the show. Hollywood Branded tried to get the phones but BB said no.

Keep in mind that this is an Emmy Award winning show. And the exposure would be good. But they said no. Now the producers have said that even if BB said yes later they won never accept the phones and they're going to nice the HTC One.

I honestly don't understand BB and how they view their business.

This is what is wrong with BB. they have no idea how to market. Branding in a TV show is the way to go. I said long ago if BB was smart they would give the z10 away to every celebrity in a reality show. They normally have BBs anyway. best advertizing they could do.

Grrr...

Text description lists a QWERTY keyboard, but the picture shows a QWERTZ keyboard.

It's a good news, but not good enough. Why not start a replacement plan for bb7 users to freely get bb10?

The difference is only in radios. All models come with LTE, some just cover more "ground" than others.
