The guys at Ten23 Software just let us know that they're making the jump from enterprise to consumer with SpotJots Mobile. SpotJots is a location-based networking app that allows you to upload photos, videos, and voice-notes to your account on the fly. It tags all the content you upload with your current location, which opens up a host of uses: a running journal of your day, reviews of spots around where you live, a way to keep in touch with your friends and see what they're doing that's better than hanging out with you, or even just a person media manager for private stuff. It even works on BlackBerrys without GPS by letting you input your current address. Best of all, it's free to download by visiting their download site or texting SPOTJOTS to 41411, so give it a whirl and let us know what you think in the comments.

I love this app. Compared to all of the other location based apps this one is tops. Convenient, intuitive, and ease of use make it effortless.
You can link it to various sites i.e. twitter and facebook or use a custom widget on a various website.
Top 5 app for me.
I'm hooked on this one. Best one so far.
Odd, I've installed this on OS 4.5 beta but when I run it nothing seems to happen? Is 4.5 supported for this app yet?
thanks
Mike
Well it gets worse. Seems I cant use Safari on my Mac to enter a jot? Is this correct? No forum on website I could see, so cant as these questions.
It's doomed :)
@dirky: The SpotJots mobile app runs on all BB OSs 4.2 and greater except for 4.5. For some reason, 4.5 doesn't run the same code, and we are working with RIM to identify it. Re. Safari: it runs our AJAX stuff differently than IE and Firefox (PC and Mac versions). We are definitely working on both these issues and hope to have them resolved for you asap. Thanks
